Owynn's on a roll!

Sunday Funday

So far we've had an enjoyable weekend. I am very glad to have the weekend off from work. After being out of work for 4 months, 2 months on bed rest and 2 months on maternity leave, I have been back at work for 2 weeks and am already sick of it. I work in a pharmacy and a lot of times people are just special.

PSA: The proper way to dispose of your medications is to try and dissolve them in a little bit of water. Then put them in with coffee grounds, kitty litter, dirty diapers, or something equally as yucky, then throw it all in the trash. You do NOT go to the pharmacy, yell at the tech, throw your medications on the counter, then storm off. I love people...ugh!

Hopefully today I can cross a few things off of my to do list. I need to give the twins a bath, but they aren't particularly fond of them. I am kind of bummed since I realized that my next day off isn't until next Sunday, boo!

Oh well, I think now is a good time to go take a nap, both babies are alseep =)

It's a blog!

My mum has finally convinced me I should start a blog. I don't know how this will go, but let's give it a shot.

Let's meet our cast of characters:
Jessica- Me! I grew up in MA, moved with my family to NY for 4 years, then moved to NE when I got married.
John- My awesome husband. We've been married since 2004.
Owynn & Oliver- Our twin boys born January 2011.

Today has been a day. John has been watching the boys since I have gone back work. Currently he's on disability, so until he goes back I am working full time. Today he is sick though, so I stayed home to watch the twins. Which really I don't mind, I would much rather be home than working. They have been good today, Oliver has been a little fussy, but they are currently asleep in the living room with me while I watch Man v. Food. So far today I have managed to load and start the dishwasher, make and eat lunch, waste time on FB, and start a blog. After Owynn wakes up to eat again, which should be soon, we are going shopping. Going to Kohls then the grocery store.

They are usually pretty easy going babies, they like riding around in their car seats. Whether it's in the car or the stroller (aka The Baby Tank) they just love it. They are good sleepers too, which I am very thankful for. When they finally came home from the hospital (after a brief stay in the NICU), they were already sleeping 4 hours at a time. Currently at 10 weeks they take 3-4 hour naps during the day and are sleeping for about 7 hours at a time over night. This makes Mommy very happy and apparently pretty lucky.

Here's to hoping I figure out this whole blogging thing and stick with it!
